How did you find out about SI Radio?: Google
Hey there guys! DJ Gamble here, and as you can tell by the name, I used to be a DJ/personality for an internet radio station for EGLN Radio. In those days I was known as EGLN|Charlie/California in case any of you remember it. It was another gamer friendly radio station like this one...hope to meet some great people here!

How did you find out about SI Radio?: eve online
well i figured its about time i posted here as i haunt these boards and the irc frequently enough. The name xdrone561x has been in use for some time now. It started out tagging late nights in the south as well as here in pennsylvania. It turned into my gaming handle and hasn't looked back yet. However it isn't the given birth name(hehe funny if it would be). So i am Shaun, 26 years old, born and raised in the south and now live in the hills at the tail end of the Appalachians. Du Bois is the name of the city, a small little town that is 2 hours north of Pittsburgh.

I work at the local Pilot truck stop also known as the 624th level of hell. Its not the most glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps me online. I live with my girlfriend of 6 years Brandi, and two cats, Artemis(after the master assassin) and Gertie. I currently play frequently EVE online in the corporation of Xenocorp, as well as on the neverwinter nights server Amia. I can usually be found in the Irc, or on msn(xdrone561x@hotmail.com).

You guys have an awesome station going on here, and its great to listen to when gaming!

Hello, I'm mashedbeans!

I've been listening to the station for about a month or so. I love it! I play a bit of WoW and Call of Duty 4 on the 360.
Glad to be apart of this awesome community!

How did you find out about SI Radio?: I trolled teh intarwebz!11eleventy-one
Grandma's Buttermilk Biscuits

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup shortening or lard, chilled (see Note, below)
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425°F.

Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender, and add the buttermilk, blending quickly, just until dry ingredients are moistened. A sticky dough will result.

Turn the dough out on a floured board. Flour your hands and knead the dough 3 or 4 times. Important: Do not overhandle the dough. Roll or pat to a 3/4-inch thickness, and cut with a biscuit cutter. Repeat with the scraps of dough. For soft-sided biscuits, place close together on a lightly greased baking sheet or in a lightly greased cast iron skillet (vegetable cooking spray works just fine). For biscuits that are crusty all around, place about an inch apart on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake at 425°F for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown. Makes about eight 3-inch or about a dozen 2-inch biscuits.

Note: Biscuits baked on a baking sheet will rise higher and brown more evenly than those baked in a pan with sides.

Lard makes wonderful biscuits and pastries. And it may interest you to know that it contains less saturated fat than butter.
