New “Ghost in the Shell” anime project called “ARISE” announced
A new project for the “Ghost in the Shell” series’, called “Ghost in the Shell ARISE”, has been announced.
The only information known right now is that “ARISE” will be animated by Production I.G, and the chosen general director is Kise Kazuchika. Shirow Masamune, the original creator of the manga, will also participate in the new project. Ubukata Tow who is known for his novel “Tenchi Meisatsu“, will be in charge of the script and composition, and CORNELIUS will be in charge of its music.
On February 12th at 6pm in Japan, a press conference will be held that will cover more details including the format of the anime and a teaser. The press conference will be live broadcast on the official site (here).
