Every Thursday during Asian Insanity, I bring you the lastest music and news from Japan and Korea. The topics of discussion this week were the new game releases of One Piece: Unlimited World Red, Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn, Tales of Heart R, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, and Soul Calibur: Lost Swords.

Check it out!

One Piece: Unlimited World Red

To be release on PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U platforms on June 12 in North America and June 27 in Europe.

One Piece: Unlimited World Red allows for up to four players to play together, and players can explore the world of One Piece with their friends. Players can embark on different quests and battle enemies with many of the manga and anime's familiar characters. The game also allows players to fish, catch bugs, hunt for treasure, and more to develop and train their characters. The game features the original character Red, the game's nemesis who aims to be the Pirate King. Standing in his way are the Straw Hat Pirates and a new raccoon (tanuki) character named Pato.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn

Upcoming PlayStation 3 game Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn, Namco Bandai Games plans for the game's release in the Americas in February.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn brought back the "Official Mode," in which players can relive the stories from the different Gundam anime. The mode includes new recreations of the stories from Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, the first Mobile Suit Gundam series, Mobile Suit Z Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, and more. In Ultimate Mode, characters from different Gundam series meet in battle for crossover missions. The game features more than 100 playable mobile suits — the most ever in this game series. The game also has a multiplayer mode with split-screen or online play.

Tales of Heart R

Tales of Heart R PlayStation Vita game is slated for release in Europe and the Americas this Winter.

Tales of Hearts R follows the story of Kor Meteor, a brave young man living in a small village by the sea, as he sharpens his fighting skills under the watchful eye of his grandfather. Impressed with Kor's growing skill, his grandfather bequeaths to him a special type of weapon known as a Soma. Soma users must possess exceptionally strong Spiria, the source of all life from which the human mind and will are derived.
Armed with his Soma, Kor soon encounters a young woman named Kohaku Hearts who has been placed under a spell by a mysterious witch. As Kor attempts to lift the spell, he accidentally shatters Kohaku's Spiria Core, the source of her emotions. Kor must set out on a journey to find a way to make Kohaku's Spiria whole once more.

The game remakes the Nintendo DS role-playing game Tales of Hearts, fully voiced and with new story events. Calcedny Arcome, a former non-player character, is a party character for the new game.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will be downloadable on PlayStation Vita in North America this summer.

By exploring the 76 cities in Aincrad, players can pick up new friends and party members for their adventures. Kirito can also deepen his relationship with his partners by hanging out with them in the cities, going out on dates, or holding hands. The game will include characters Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, Yui, Leafa, Shinon, Strea, Sachi, Kibaou, and Argo. A new, original character named Philia will play an integral part in the game's plot.

In the game's special "adventure mode," players have the option to create their own characters and play with up to eight other people online to go on quests in the Hollow Area. The game will additionally have a dating element where players can go on dates that could possibly end with pillow talk.
