Otakon, Baltimore's big Anime con, has decided to create a "spin off" con right in the heart of Las Vegas. Currently, the con is planned for January 3-5 2014 and will take place at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. With the new con and location, they hope to "create a smaller and more intimate setting" where they can "try out new things."

What new things could you possibly try at an anime con that hasnt already been done? Oh wait. It's Vegas. Nevermind.

 Square Enix released 3 videos totalling 25 minutes of footage from its upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn MMORPG. 

 The first eight-minute video takes a tour of different areas within the realm of Eorzea and features footage from both the PC and PS3 versions of the game. 

The second 13-minute video features commentary from director and producer Naoki Yoshida and community team member Toshio Murouchi on the gamepad controls while playing through the game. This is to show players what it's like to play an MMORPG using a gamepad.

The third video features real-time footage of player exploration and battles for the game's PC version.

Beta testing for the first phase will open on February 25.

A 5 minute video of XXXHolic's live action 8 episode series was released. Based on these first five minutes...It's sure to be an entertaining show. Dont you think? The series will start running this Sunday in Japan.

New Dragon Ball Z film, Battle of God's released a trailer! Apparently, this new film is not a spinoff, but a story in the official history of Dragon Ball.

The film is set between the 517th and 518th installments of the original manga. It is set duringthe "lost decade" after the end of the battle with Majin Buu. Kuririn, Piccolo, Vegeta, Gohan, etc.
