As we enter the time after Christmas has passed I understand that a lot of you are poor, I know I am. Having said that, for those of you who didn't get nice toys and games for the holidays I have an alternative for you!

No, it isn't more coal I assure you....

Now, one thing you guys should know is that as I get older I have moved from a hardcore gamer into a more casual one...or well, one who is cheap. This means that I absolutely love games that are free and the internet has a plethera of them. These free games are called Flash games and can be found across most websites on the intenet (Armor Games, Kongregate, Newgrounds, etc).

Since flash games are free to play and easy to make there is a TON of them on the internet, most of which aren't worth your time. That's why we have awesome articles such as this to give you the ones that can entertain you during your work day, school day, or whatever time you like.

Today we'll be talking about a game called Infectonator 2! Don't worry about playing the first one because it is considerably slower than this one is. The point of this game is to convert the entire happy go lucky world into mindless zombies that do your bidding. Sounds awesome right? Well it is. Trust me because I have spent around 8 hours playing this game.

The first thing I would like to say about this game is that it is INCREDIBLY simple to play. You have a mouse cursor which is your "infection tool" that spreads the virus and once the virus is sent out, you wait. People will be bitten, infected, dead, etc. If you've ever had a dream of world domination and I know you have, this is the game for you.

As you can see from the map above, the landscape to control is HUGE meaning there are a lot of stages. When you make it from stage to stage, which are actually different real world places across the globe, you not only have to dominate a minimum number of infected people but you have other challenges as well! These challenges go from using different weapons, zombies, and killing EVERYONE YOU SEE. Let's face it, if you go to work on a monday I know you have murder in your eye and this is a lot less messy than trying to clean blood off your cubicle.

Either way, once you get the blood out of the fabric you might notice the game has MANY upgrade ooptions. If you love upgrade games, like I do, this is your game. You get to put money in stats (lifespan, speed, damage resist, attack, infection percent, and virus direction), buy new zombies (unlockable), and awesome items to help with your unstoppable worldwide chaos. I spent two class periods (6 hours) playing this game and was not completely done, that says a lot about a flash game.

Now I know what you're thinking, "Oh it's one of those pixel-y games". First off, that isn't a word and second off it doesnt detract from anything. You grow to love the nostalgia factor of the graphics and even some higher end computers will have a little slow down once you get into the later levels when you have to take down a hundred people or more.

After every level you get a nice recap of the distruction you have caused by a news lady, who right now is dressed up like a sexy santa. Giggidy, amirite? Beyond that the game WILL save to your local hard drive (as long as you don't clear you cache) and allow you to play at your own pace. Each level has multiple missions to complete and once done they will give you more cash. Now I know I have said this before but I cannot say it enough, this game has premium content but doesn't shove it down your throat like a bad date with a handful of roofies.

All in all this game is fantastic because it has a lot going on. If you want the work/school or just the day to go faster please go check it out.
